Battle of Crete Private Tour
“Hence we shall not say that Greeks fight like heroes, but that heroes fight like Greeks” – Winston Churchill
Experience Crete, “the island of the brave” from a different perspective with our Battle of Crete Tour.
It is no ordinary dry military history but an exploration of the Chania and Kisamos area and its relevance to the history of World War II in Crete. It is a great opportunity to visit the most important battlefields where the Greek, British, New Zealand and Australian troops bravely fought against the German invasion of the paratroopers.
We will also visit some of the most important but unknown WWII museums in small villages around the area.
A traditional Cretan lunch is included plus transport and an excellent and informative World War II English speaking guide.
Available from 170 €, depending on the number of participants.
