Located south of Rethymnon, Imbros Gorge offers a 7km, easy-to-walk, mostly shaded trail, perfect for families with children. The hike takes about 3 hours and features stunning narrow passages, natural stone arches, and fascinating history, as it was the escape route for thousands of troops after the Battle of Crete in May 1941. After exiting the gorge at Komitades village, a bus will take you to Sfakia village, where you can enjoy a delicious lunch and a refreshing swim in the crystal-clear waters of the Libyan Sea. Later in the afternoon, relax as you are transferred back to your hotel.
