Wine and Olives Jeep Safari in Chania area

We start our day with 2 interesting visits, first to an Olive Oil Mill and then a Winery, both visits with informative tours and tasting as well as health secrets for long living Cretans! Our next stop is to Vouves village with its 3000 years old olive tree, a small olive oil museum and information about the olives and their role to Cretan lifestyle.

Lunch follows to a small traditional family-run tavern in a village nearby where we will be welcomed by the owner and introduced to Cretan cuisine with plenty of food, wine and of course warm Cretan hospitality.

After lunch and on our way up to Mesavlia we drive through Deliana gorge with its picturesque creek nestled amongst lush vegetation. There will be plenty of opportunities to take photos of sheep and goats on our way to the cavernous chapel of Ag. Paraskevi, where we pay a short visit. A beautiful drive through Cretan villages and Olive groves will take you back to your hotel.
